Tackling Human Trafficking - Session 2 of 3
OVERVIEW: Attendees will learn about the history behind statewide efforts to address human trafficking, including the creation of the Office of Human Trafficking Program (OHTP), current resources, and what to expect moving forward. A Louisiana hospital leader will share her journey of creating a human trafficking program, including the step wise approach that was taken to grow the program into what it is today. The session will provide attendees with an opportunity to ask questions and will discuss considerations to implement elements of a human trafficking program within their own facility.
• Review currently available resources for human trafficking; and
• Discuss important elements necessary to implement a successful program.
